V. Charles Ward is a solicitor with more than forty years’ experience of commercial and residential property. As a Legal Associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute, he is also qualified to advise and act in all matters relating to town planning and land development. His specialisations include all matters relating to:

Jack Plant
One of the few Revenue–trained experts in Wills, Probate, Trusts and Inheritance Tax, Estates Administration and shares Valuation still working in private practice. After many years’ Criminal Defense experience in the Duty Solicitor role, Jack has concentrated on Private Client work, including High Net Worth clients, Estates and Trusts Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Office of the Public Guardian work.
Involvement in matters of family wealth has led to numerous instructions in Divorce and the resulting Ancillary Relief matters. Jack has finely-honed skills in achieving favorable financial and property settlements whilst fostering reasonably harmonious relations between the parties. I have in-depth knowledge of the fast-developing field of Pre-Nuptial Agreements, which has assumed huge importance following several recent high-profile cases.
A fluent French speaker, Jack also have a useful knowledge of Polish, Russian and German, and close connections with the European ex-patriate communities in West London.

Ghazia Butt
Ghazia began practice in Immigration and Nationality in 1997. Before changing careers and qualifying as a solicitor , she gained wealth of knowledge having formerly worked for the Home Office, and demonstrated her expertise through Hudson Legal, a Level 3 OISC Immigration practice of which she was a founding Partner. She is well versed with matters related with her area of practice, including divorce, family issues, applications under the Childrens Act and the specific requirements of British Muslims for whom she has acted on Shariah compliant Wills and culturally sensitive issues arising from the breakdown of a marriage or relationship.
She is also an experienced conveyancer dealing with residential and commercial and company transactions. She has negotiated settlements in large multi party litigation and dealt with litigation matters in the county court.
She is fluent in Punjabi and Urdu.
Frans Khan, Barrister
Frans Khan's main area of practice is Immigration law, including Nationality, Asylum and Judicial Review. He also practises in Family Law, criminal defence, general common law, Contract, Negligence, Landlord & Tenant, Employment, Race discrimination, E. U. law and intellectual property.
Since entering practice in 1993, Frans has dealt with a wide range of matters, including blackmail, wounding, child abduction, passing off and internal disciplinary hearings. He has handled over FOUR THOUSAND IMMIGRATION & ASYLUM CASES AT ALL LEVELS up to and including before the Court of Appeal AND OVER 7,500 CASES in total (all courts).
Notable cases:
Lagranha (1997) (unreported, Court of Appeal) (whether necessary to show that a marriage is bona fides for grant of residence permit to foreign spouse of E. U. national); and
Meflah (1998) N. L. R. 180 (starred decision on the appellant's right to an oral hearing in asylum cases).
Halil Argun & others [2009] EWC A Civ 582 dealing with Ankara Agreement and establishment of business whilst here as a student, whether by breaching terms of their current visa, this was a bar to them exercising rights granted to them under the Ankara agreement.
In 2017, GMC reference number: 464589 he was successful after a three day appeal hearing before the Medical Practitioner’s Tribunal sitting in Manchester in restoring a Doctor to the register who had consistently lied about her qualifications over a Five year period in order to advance in the Medical Profession.

Martyn Valentine- Consultant IR35 Advisor (non Solicitor)
Martyn graduated from the University of Sussex with an honours degree in Law and later completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Westminster. Martyn has also gained substantial experience in commercial management, HR, employment law, employment status and recruitment law and is currently studying in his spare time for CIPD membership. In total Martyn has over 10 years’ of experience in advising on employment relations, employment status, IR35 and recruitment law.
In addition, Martyn has worked as a Legal Adviser for the British Dental Association and later successfully acted for many limited company contractors in contentious HM Revenue & Customs Employer Compliance Reviews. Notable successes include the famous Datagate case. More recently, Martyn has worked as a Legal Adviser for the Recruitment & Employment Confederation providing specialist advice on the IR35 legislation, employment law, commercial risk management, data protection, immigration and other issues involved in running a recruitment business.
Martyn’s other interests include criminal justice policy, militaria, campaign management, litigation and maritime matters.
